This is a normal type powernet, but has an overall large trellis pattern and floral borders to top and bottom. This fabric has a finished useable selvedge (where the floral border is). This means that you actually utilise the selvedge at the top (waistband) of your knickers or along the leg, or along the bottom of the band if used on a bra. To utilise it simply place your elastic underneath and sew in place. No need to fold the fabric over, so you can use a fine slim elastic without causing bulk. this is the sort of fabric now being used to create a very discrete knicker that doesn't show through tight clothing.
Powernet is a mesh type fabric, which comes in different weights. The heavier the weight the stronger the stretch. This section is of light powernet which is most suited to making knickers etc. We have indicated stretch as W-widthways stretch, selvedge to sevedge, and H-stretch down the length of the fabric. These are approximate. A 50% stretch means 10cm of fabric would stretch to 15cm long, and 100% stretch means 10cm of fabric would stretch to 20cm long etc.
