100% cotton guipure fabric with boarded selvedges, which can be used as they are (no hemming required!) This fabric was designed to be used as the front insert piece in a jersey floaty, cardi-style jacket. The border edge is used as the hem. So on that basis the fabric would be used as having a width of 56cm, and 100cm height, though you would probably not have the front that long! Of course, you can buy two and make a proper top, or overlay dress. If 56cm is not wide enough for your dress, then you could have stretch border sides to make up the width. It is beautiful stuff, and would have been extremely expensive to manufacture.
Dress Weight fabric, layer over stretch mesh lining, or a plain thin cotton slip, in the same or contrasting colour. NO stretch but still a little give due to the 'weave',
Crotchet style pattern of 'flowers', the largest ones being about 5cm diameter. The selvedge should be trimmed off to give a bordered edge. The fabric would be used with the selvedge as the bottom hem on your dress, so it has a nice border. Composition: 100% cotton.
