Pack of 4 sets of fasteners, plus tools to set using a hammer, or the tools can be used with the vario pliers. The fastener consists of a hook and a bar, held on by a small button. The buttons come in black and silver (4 of each). If you are making trousers from scratch you would set the hook and bar before turning the waistband so they would be inside the fabric. If you are repairing the trousers and do not wish to do any sewing, the button would on the outside of the waistband and therefore visible.

Tools can be used with vario pliers, so once you have purchased a pack with tools you can then buy refills of different styles.
