Professional-quality polyamide bone casing tape for corsetry, costume making, and structured garments.

This strong tubular casing is manufactured from two layers of durable polyamide tape sealed together to create a smooth, flat channel. Guide lines woven into each side make it easy to sew accurately, producing neat, professional-looking bone channels without the bulk and unevenness often associated with homemade casings.

Measuring approximately 18mm wide, the internal channel is around 10mm wide, making it ideal for 7mm and 8mm steel or plastic corset bones.

A major advantage of ready-made casing is that it can be sewn directly onto the coutil lining of a corset, allowing the bone channels to remain invisible from the outside of the garment. It can also be sewn onto the inside of single-layer corsets, creating exceptionally strong channels and a clean professional finish.

Sold by the metre and supplied in one continuous length wherever possible.
