A sheen elastic

This elastic has a fold line down the centre, and is perfect for binding the edges of everything, but particulary stretch fabrics.

If you are binding the seam of a garment which would normally be hemmed, remember to first trim off the seam allowance.

Width given is the unfolded width, so actual finished width of the binding once sewn on will be half stated width.
