Product Description

A charming piece of old deadstock voile mesh fabric featuring an adorable teddy bear print in ivory, blue and red. Originally intended as a furnishing fabric, this semi-sheer, crisp voile has plenty of potential for creative sewing and craft projects.

The ivory voile is printed with sweet teddy bears in various poses, including sitting and standing, with some wearing a little blue hat or bow and others sporting a red bow tie. The bears measure approximately 12.5cm tall.

The teddy bears themselves are subtly printed in white, so they become much more visible against a darker background, while the little coloured accessories provide the main contrast. Scattered between the bears are small, simple red flowers with blue stems and leaves, adding extra charm to the design.

Although clearly originally designed as a furnishing fabric, its crisp, lightweight nature makes it particularly interesting for gift bags, decorative bags and craft projects.

Pattern Details

The teddy bears are approximately 12.5cm tall and appear in a variety of positions and poses. The white bear print is deliberately subtle against the ivory background and will show much more clearly when the fabric is placed over a contrasting or darker colour.
