A beautifully soft French lace trim by Broderies Deschamps, made in France. This non-stretch lace has a velvet-like, peached fabric feel, giving it a smooth, luxurious handle rather than a traditional open lace texture.

The design features a symmetrical scallop edge with a repeat of 5.5cm. The lace measures 60mm at its widest and 50mm at the scallop dips.
The scallop edge is worked in a fine satin-stitch half-moon, connected to the main body by a delicate faggoted border—simple at first glance, but surprisingly intricate on close inspection.

Ideal for hems, sleeve edges, nightwear, bridalwear accents, corsetry trims, or it can be split down the centre for two narrower trims. The plain centre area also lends itself well to additional embellishment such as embroidery, beading, or appliqué.
