This non-stretch vintage lace trim offers the classic ribbon-threaded lace look, without the need to thread ribbon through by hand. Known as “Faux Ribbon” lace (1822), it was designed to mimic the decorative effect of ribbon-laced trims while remaining quick and easy to apply.

Featuring shaped edges and a structured, decorative profile, this lace is ideal for trimming garment edges, lingerie, blouses, nightwear, costume and decorative sewing projects. Made from a nylon/rayon blend, it is lightweight, stable and easy to sew.

This is true vintage stock, manufactured in 1980 by a lace company based in Nottingham, UK, which is no longer in business. Acquired from clearance, the lace remains in excellent usable condition and retains its original charm and quality — a rare opportunity to work with authentic English-made vintage lace.
