High-quality industrial sewing thread in Natural (undyed off-white).
This M60 2-ply thread is supplied on a 10,000 metre cone weighing approximately 613g, designed for industrial or high-volume sewing applications.

M60 thread is a medium-fine weight – slightly heavier than the common 120s thread used in domestic machines – giving excellent seam strength while remaining smooth and flexible. It’s an ideal choice for lingerie, underwear, swimwear, activewear, and lightweight garments, where both softness and durability are required.

Although unbranded, this cone matches the typical dimensions and appearance of Polyfil or similar high-tenacity polyester industrial threads used in garment factories.

Using on a Domestic Sewing Machine

This thread is supplied on a large industrial cone and may not fit on a standard home spool pin.
To use it on a domestic machine:

  • Place the cone upright behind the machine and thread vertically through a guide or mug before entering the first thread path.

  • Alternatively, use a thread stand/cone holder to keep even tension.

  • Use a fine universal or stretch needle, size 70/10–80/12, depending on your fabric.

  • Adjust top tension slightly lower than with heavier all-purpose threads.

  • Ideal for sewing knits, microfibre, stretch lace, mesh, and other lingerie fabrics.
